Where do seismic supports and hangers need to be used
According to the national standard GB50981-2014 "Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering" issued and implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development in 2015, it clearly stipulates the design and use of seismic supports and hangers.
This standard has been implemented since August 1, 2015, which means that seismic supports and hangers must be considered for building electromechanical engineering since then. So, in which specific areas of mechanical and electrical engineering must seismic supports be used?
、 Article 1.0.4 (Strong Article) stipulates that building mechanical and electrical engineering in areas with seismic design intensity of 6 degrees or above must undergo seismic design.
、 Article 3.1.6 specifies the contents that require seismic fortification: ① Equipment with a gravity greater than 1.8kN in suspended pipelines; ② Domestic water supply and fire protection pipeline systems with a diameter of DN65 or above; ③ A duct system with a rectangular cross-sectional area greater than or equal to 0.38 square meters and a circular diameter greater than or equal to 0.7 meters; ④ For electrical piping with an inner diameter greater than or equal to 60mm, as well as cable ladders, cable trays, and bus ducts with a gravity greater than or equal to 150N/m.
、 Article 3.1.8 stipulates that building mechanical and electrical engineering pipelines passing through the isolation layer should use flexible connections or other methods, and seismic supports should be installed on both sides of the isolation layer.
、 Article 4.1.2.1 stipulates that when the straight length of the water supply and drainage pipes of high-rise buildings in areas with 8 and 9 degrees Celsius (the term "high-rise buildings" is provided by the industry encyclopedia) is greater than 50m, anti vibration measures should be taken; When the length of a straight line is greater than 100m, anti vibration measures should be taken.
、 According to Article 4.1.2.3, for indoor water supply, hot water, and fire protection pipelines with a diameter greater than or equal to DN65 that require fortification, seismic supports should be installed as required when they are fixed with hangers, supports, or brackets.
、 Article 5.1.2.4 stipulates that pipelines in boiler rooms, refrigeration rooms, and heat exchange stations should have reliable lateral and longitudinal seismic supports. Multiple pipelines sharing support hangers or single pipeline support hangers with a diameter greater than or equal to 300mm should use door type seismic support hangers.
、 Article 5.1.3.3 stipulates that seismic supports and hangers can be used for air ducts with a rectangular cross-sectional area greater than or equal to 0.38 square meters and a circular diameter greater than or equal to 0.70 meters.
、 Article 5.1.4 (Strong Article) stipulates that seismic supports and hangers should be used for smoke exhaust ducts, accident ventilation ducts, and related equipment.
、 Article 5.1.5.4 stipulates that air conditioning units, fans, and other equipment with a gravity greater than 1.8kN should not be installed by lifting. When lifting is necessary, it should be avoided to place it above personnel activity and evacuation routes, but seismic supports and hangers should be installed.
、 Article 6.1.1 stipulates that gas pipelines with an inner diameter greater than or equal to 25mm should undergo seismic design, and the installation of seismic supports and hangers for the pipelines should comply with regulations.
、 Article 6.2.8 stipulates that in buildings with a height greater than 50m, gas pipelines should be equipped with seismic supports at appropriate intervals according to the seismic requirements of the building.
、 Article 7.1.2 stipulates that electrical piping with an inner diameter of not less than 60mm and cable ladders, cable trays, and bus ducts with a gravity of not less than 150N/m should be earthquake resistant.
